How to make a Paper Boat
Follow the step by step directions to make your own paper boat, and set your own course. You will need a letter sized paper, a flat smooth surface to fold on, and a little bit of patience.

1. Initial Fold
Fold in half lengthwise and then open the fold again.
2. Top to Bottem
Fold the paper in half again, this time along the other axis (the short way).
3. Create the Peak
With the open edge (the bottom) facing you, fold the top-left and top-right corners down so they meet exactly on the center crease.
4. Fold the Brim
Take the single layer of the bottom rectangular strip and fold it up to the triangle, hook the flaps over the sides of the triangle (do this on both sides)
5. Make a Diamond
Push the bottom corners of the triangle together, While pulling the center of the triangle out to points.
6. Smaller Triangle
Take the bottom point of the diamond and fold it up to meet the top point. Turn it over and repeat on the other side. This creates a smaller triangle.
7. Open to a Small Dimond
Just like Step 5, Push the bottom corners of the triangle together, While pulling the center of the triangle out to points.
8. Pull two top points out
Gently pull the top parts of the diamond/square out to make the boat shape, and press flat.
9. Open in the Center
Pull the bottom center of the boat open, and press out sides to make desired boat shape.
